Comrie Enterprises, LLC is the Adopt Clean Energy campaign manager for Mount Vernon and New Rochelle, NY. The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) Heat Smart campaign is to promote heat pump technology and heat pump installer training. New York State will eliminate fossil fuels use in building and transportation by 2050.

This massive undertaking will involve utilities, the private sector, just about every state resident, and billions of dollars.

The successful candidate will assist the Marketing and Social Media Specialist with campaign-related marketing needs. This internship position will allow the candidate an opportunity to participate in a statewide campaign to save the environment. Renewable energy and sustainability are among the fastest-growing fields, and jobs will be plentiful for those who get experience and first-hand knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • New York State Resident (During COVID - this will be a virtual job)

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Available also to those with a bachelor's degree in communications, graphic design, sales, or video production.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of marketing strategies & tactics

  • Excellent communication, writing skills, and great attention to detail

  • Leadership qualities are a must (Self-starter)

  • Experience using any video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, iMovie) or equivalent software

  • Experience using any graphic design software such as Canva or Illustrator and/or other design software

  • Experience using Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, LinkedIn, & Twitter

  • Should display a strong self-starter track record and strong work ethic.

  • Should show eagerness to learn and commit to delivering work and assigned tasks on time is a must

  • Excellent graphic design skills

  • Be comfortable speaking in front of a camera.

  • Experience using Hubspot or other CRM platform

  • Experience in website design, development, & management

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media strategy that defines how social media marketing techniques will be applied to increase visibility, traffic, and sales

  • Assist in the development and creation of digital content for Social Media platforms

  • Manage daily content and scheduling for all Adopt Clean Energy social channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok, and LinkedIn

  • Assist with daily moderation and responding to social media’s comments and direct messages; produce monthly outcomes reports.

  • Help to table at Fair events, Farmer’s markets, parks (Times will be scheduled)

  • Assist with community outreach

  • Participate in weekly team calls

Salary: $17 per hour

Clean Heat Organizational Specialist

The Clean Heat Organizational Specialist will assist the organization with creating and organizing an intake system that community volunteers and other employees can easily use. The intake Specialists will work under the direction of the Campaign Director, Diana Williams.

Requirements:

  • College graduate

  • Engineering student preferred

  • Must know Hubspot

  • Very organized

  • Communicate well

  • Must be articulate

  • Available full-time

  • Virtual position

Salary: $17.00 per hour
